New for 2006, the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick is a slightly heavier update to the legendary Babolat Pure Drive Team. Meant to more closely replicate the weight of Andy's racquet, the Pure Drive Roddick provides a little more stiffness and power, provided you are able to handle the additional weight. Still categorized as a tweener (between powerful/controlled), the Pure Drive Roddick should retain its appeal to a wide array of players. Works well at the net (though not quite as maneuverable), as well as the baseline. This racquet is great for intermediate players who are looking for power and control. Although it is a bit heavier then normal racquets, it really doesn't matter unless you dont have alot of strength. I recommend using Babolat custom hybrid strings which is the Pro Hurricane half-set and Vs half-set. I'm very pleased with this racquet and im sure you'll be pleased too!
