I bought this as a cheaper alternative to Babolat Super Tape, and that's where I made my mistake. This stuff is very similar to ordinary tape, and it does very little to protect the racquet head. It can be difficult to apply without wrinkles, which will quickly begin to pull away if created. Although it does stay on well if applied correctly, the adhesive leaves a large amount of residue on the frame when the tape is removed. I'd be willing to accept all of this if not for the fact that the tape shreds extremely easily, so after brushing the frame on the court trying to dig out a drop shot, the tape will be in pieces and the frame will be exposed to wear again. About the only way I can see this actually offering some protection is if you change it out every time you pick up the racquet. If this was the only option I might accept its flaws, but the Babolat version, called super tape, is far more durable and practical, even if it is a little more expensive.

I will always buy this product because I like it very much. The tape is very strong so it offers a real protection without modifying the look of the racquet. It is a very good choice.
