5 out of 5 stars Excellent buy at a low price!   February 16, 2005

I play twice a week and break strings monthly and got tired of paying for stringing. I enjoy learning to do new things so I bought this stringer disregarding the previous review. Machine arrived timely but that's info for the company rating. No instructions included. Instructions are not really necessary to assemble the machine if one has ever had a glimpse of a stringing machine with racket mounted, easily viewable online in this age. Stringing rackets is not as simple a matter as some might believe it to be so anybody who buys this machine MUST do some research online or somewhere to learn the theory of stringing rackets. The machine is obviously missing many of the features that more expensive ones have but it does include the essentials to string rackets. Compensation can be made with knowledge and practice. Don't buy this if you're not willing to invest the time in learning how to use it. For the do-it-yourselfer; it's an excellent money-saving choice.

1 out of 5 stars No directions and took way too long   July 13, 2004

It took me over 2 months to receive my racquetball racquet stringer. When I inquired where it was the company told me they shipped it (over a month after I ordered it). When I asked if they had a tracking number they simply responded "No, it was shipped by the U.S. postal service and there is no way to track it". Bad customer service. When I finally received the stringer there was absolutely no directions with it. I would return it but I would have to pay over $30 shipping - it isn't worth it.
