Product Description Rod Laver is the only player in history to win the tennis Grand Slam twice. Introduced in 1970, this is the first signature shoe of the man many consider the best tennis player ever. Easy to see why its still so popular.
Amazon.com Product Description One of the most popular tennis shoes ever, it was first developed in 1970 with the cooperation of tennis great Rod Laver. This is a shoe for the traditional stylist and old-school player alike.

Awesome shoe February 5, 2010 Shiler Adams (Moscow, ID USA) This shoe doesn't only look great, but it also fits great and has nice traction. I also couldn't believe how inexpensive it was.
An all time favorite!!! January 22, 2010 Family shopper (Baltimore, Md, USA) My son absolutely loves these shoes. He spends a lot of time creating art on them w/Sharpies, it's great they wear so well. Because they are a tennis shoe, they're supportive w/ plenty of cushioning in in the soles. Thumbs up for these classic gems! BTW, fit runs true to size.
What Are Those Soles Made Of? December 29, 2009 M. Quercia The soles are actually slippery. More like plastic than rubber. Fails the most basic of tests for a sneaker.
Nice Shoe November 4, 2009 Ryan (Boston, MA) Judge the style for yourself, but the quality / fit is good (same as any other adidas shoe to me). I think they look great.
Greatest.Shoes.Ever November 3, 2009 Alexander Hutton (Columbus, Ohio USA) I had these 25 years ago. They were simply the best shoe I've ever worn. Am going to buy them again.
